2 cups of all purpose flour
0.5 cup of granulated sugar
280 g of butter (1 pack and 2 tablespoons)
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375° F).
Combine all the ingredients together. The butter should not be too soft, but should also not be straight from the refrigerator.
Do not overwork the dough. Mix by hand or mixer until the dough stiffens, and the consistency does not fully crumble.
Add butter or spray to the baking sheet. Place the dough on a baking sheet maintaining about 3 cms (1 inch) of thickness. Sprinkle granulated sugar on top.
Bake in the oven until the edges lightly brown (25-30 minutes).
